Phil Gacek is one of the newest Disc Jockeys added to our staff. As a graduate of the prestigious Connecticut School of Broadcasting, he knows the importance of having a quality professional to represent a bridal couple. He likes a feel-good approach to his clients and is a pervasive element to his Disc Jockeying. It begins with his phone call to meet with his clients to go over plans of the event.

There are a lot of people who want a Professional Disc Jockey. Phil says that they don’t want someone who’s going to get all of the attention and be at the center of it all. It sounds like a cliché, but the clients are the most important people of the day, and he makes you fell that way.

Phil, points out there are protocols for weddings. During cocktails he starts with some New Age (Yanni, Enya) or Harry Connick for dinner music. From there after the formal dances he will tend to play to the older crowd first, because they are not as conscience of the dance floor. So he’ll play some Big Band Swing, and some ballads are sure favorites. As the night picks up maybe some Oldies, Country, or Top 40. He will play them all!
